Sorority Flowers and Gifts

We are excited that many of you have chosen The University Florist to assist you with your Recruitment 2007 orders. We have seen the recruits making their way from sorority house to sorority house. (You might catch a glance of them at The Junction from the MSU webcam.

Many of you are already asking about Bid Day flowers and gifts. Here is some information explaining the fresh flower and gift ordering process.   Please do not hesitate to call if we can assist you in any way!t

Fresh Flower Selections

Colorful gerbera daisies and bright sunflowers encourage and inspire. Seasonal mixes of dahlias, lisianthus, and delphinium will remind her of how very special she is! "A Flower-A-Day" available (Monday - Friday). Unique ceramic vases, perfect for dorm decor, are available. Ask about our daily specials.

Classic favorites such as roses, lilies, and orchids are always available at The University Florist. Just ask what colors are in stock!

Ordering For Bid Day: How It Works

Ordering Fresh Flowers

The University Florist offers two sorority vase designs. The design features your daughter’s new sorority flowers and colors. The prices are $ 40 and $ 60. Preorders are accepted for the sorority vase designs.

To order:

• It is not necessary to know which sorority your daughter will pledge.
• Place the order at the desired price point, and The University Florist will process the order upon receiving the Bid Day list at 4pm on Saturday, August 18th.
• Sorority flower orders are delivered to her new sorority house on Saturday.

Dozen Rose Vases are $ 75 each. Red, yellow, pink, and white roses are available.

Ordering Sorority Gift Items

The University Florist offers a unique selection of sorority gift items. The gift line is limited, however due to the number of sororities on the MSU campus and the number of potential new members. Sorority gift bags are available at $ 45, $ 75, and $ 100.

To purchase sorority gift items:

• Promptly call once your daughter has received her bid.
• Choose your price point, and our sales staff will ‘tag’ your gift bag.
• The gift bag will be delivered to the sorority house.

In the event your daughter chooses not to join a sorority, it is still appropriate to send a bouquet of cut flowers. This delivery will be made to her dormitory or apartment.

On all orders, we require first and last name along with a cell phone number. Know how you would like to have the card signed that will accompany your order.
